A rough idea that I had but once I drew it out the sheet was not long enough to have both hands and one hand holding her eyes an look ok. So I just left the hand with the candle and painted over the other hand.

I plan on having a remake of this one

The Monk Bernard and the Old Piece of wood

there was a monk named bernard who was a woodcarver. the abbot came to him and asked him to carve a statue of Christ for the feast of Christ the King. the monk because sad because he had only an old trunk of oak, and he wished he had a block of ebony wood. he slept dreaming of what he could do with a good peice of wood, while he slept an angel came and seeing the dust covered trunk he put his hand to carving it.

I made my own stencil for the flower and used spray paint , then i went back and painted in the leaves by hand.

After sketching painting a small water color i decided to enlarge and paint in oil. In this Oil on canvas, for some reason, I drew the hands disproportionally, and did not realize until i began to paint.
